Hi-Tech Entrepreneurship in HTM
2019

What is it?
Taking place in both Denmark and Israel, the Hi-Tech Entrepreneurship in Hospitality, Food and Health program is a chance to learn about the promotion of innovative ideas and technological entrepreneurship and to understand what an innovation ecosystem is in a practical, interdisciplinary and multicultural setting. The course will include two introduction days in Denmark followed by a five-day camp in Israel in which Danish and Israeli students will work together to develop their own ideas into viable business ventures.
This is a joint program between Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (through the Bengis Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation), UCL University College, University College Absalon and the Innovation Centre Denmark in Israel.

Final Presentations

“The Innovation Centre at the Danish embassy is working to promote university collaboration with a specific focus on student entrepreneurship. In our dialogue with Israeli partners we were enticed by the unique entrepreneurship education of the Faculty of Management at BGU. This year we will initiate a joint course together which we believe will benefit Danish students and faculty researchers in the future. We are confident that this is just the start of many jointly organized Danish-Israeli programs to come.”
Greetings
Ms. Charlotte Slente
Ambassador Denmark to Israel

To our visiting students from Denmark:
It is my pleasure to personally welcome you to Israel and to the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, to participate in our spectacular joint program Hi-Tech Program in HTM (Hotel and Tourism Management) 2019.
Our three universities, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, UCL University College, University College Absalon, together with the Innovation Centre at the Danish Embassy in Israel have been working as a team for many months to launch this program. We have created just the right platform for quite an intensive time to study together, learn how to develop ideas into viable and responsible business ventures, and to enjoy a multi-cultural experience.
I look forward to seeing your presentations on hi-tech entrepreneurship in hotel and tourism management in November.
Wishing you all a memorable, fruitful experience.
