BGU Circular Economy Seminar
April 26, 2020

About the Seminar
A transition from linear to circular business models has been put forward as a means to reduce the environmental burdens associated with modern production and consumption systems, while maintaining economic growth.
In this seminar we will examine the potential environmental impacts of circular economy approaches. Adopting a systems approach, sessions will focus on Data science for sustainability, Urbanization, Material efficiency, and Consumer behavior.
This intimate, one day, intensive seminar will bring together the leading scholars, policy makers and advocates working on circular economy issues. It is intended for researchers, policy makers, and students interested in gaining a better understanding of circular economy concepts, business models and applications.
The seminar is supported by the BGU green campus initiative and the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management. Admission will be free of charge, but pre-registration is required.
